Tristesse is the main character of our short animation. She is a student who gave up on her dream of becoming a ballerina.
Petite Cheri is an important figure in our short animation. She is a little girl going to ballet practice. Her appearance Triggers nostalgic memories in Tristesse.
The Water Dancers are a mix of Tristesses memories and the rain that she dances in. As she dances she remembers herself as a child, herself as a teenager and herself as she was just before giving up on her dreams.
